A personal shopper is a shopping professional who helps customers make purchases. They may assist through live chat, calls, email, or in person, to gain a better understanding of the customer’s personal styles and tastes and they also process shopping orders, deliveries, and returns of purchased goods. Personal shoppers usually have a thorough knowledge of trends and are experts in local specialities.

What is virtual shopping experience?

Virtual shopping experience is video call from in store that allows you to shop in real-time from your favorite stores. Our personal shopper visits the store, shows you products via video, and helps you make purchases as if you were there in person.

Which cities is your service available in?

Our service is available in all cities across India.

What are in store personal shopping hours?

Personal shopping hours are Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST (subject to the working hours of the stores).

What is a virtual address/lockbox storage?

A lockbox is a special P.O. box address in India dedicated to collecting customers’ products.

What is free lockbox storage?

We provide free lockbox storage to hold your purchases for upto 30 days. A charge of INR 49 per day is applicable after the period of 30 days.

Note: The 30 day period starts from the arrival date of the first ordered product into the lockbox.

Do you deliver medicines from India?

Yes, though there are a few prerequisites that need to be fulfilled before shipping your package of medicines internationally:

A medical certificate that is issued within 3 months of the shipment date with the name of the patient.
A Prescription of the medicines with the medical names in English within 1 month of the shipment date. (we can help with that)
A receipt/bill of the medication purchase with patient’s name within 1 month of the shipment date. (we can help with that)
Passport copy of the patient/receiver with the name same as the prescription.
Medicine shipments can only be sent in 1kg batches.
No liquids allowed.
A maximum of 3 months course can be shipped which is cross-checked with prescription.
For ayurvedic medicines, an NOC (no-objection certificate) from Ayush department, a subdivision of the Ministry of Health and family welfare of India is required. (we will obtain this)
Medicine shipping cost is 5000 per kg.

How can I place online orders?

Pre-paid online orders can be placed on e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart to our local Indian address (we will provide the details) where it will be stored in a secured lockbox. Our executives will inspect, repack the orders and include it in the shipment box.

How can I shop from abroad countries from India?
  1. Send us a product name/photo/link and the country you wish to get the products
  2. Our executives will make a purchase on your behalf from multiple stores/websites in the particular country.
  3. Our executive will get it delivered to our warehouse in the foreign country where our executives will carefully inspect the condition of all goods, share necessary photos and process returns if applicable.
    All the goods from different stores of your choice are consolidated & packed.
  4. From our warehouse, we will schedule international shipping to India using major courier agents. Once it reaches India, we will assist with the customs clearance process if applicable.
Can you make the shopping payment on my behalf?

Yes, we can make the advance payment for shopping on your behalf. Maximum amount payable by us is INR 10000.

What if I don’t like the items purchased?

We prioritize customer satisfaction. If an issue arises, we’ll work with you to resolve it, including exchanges or returns if applicable.

What is bazaar shopping?

Bazaar shopping involves our personal shopper visiting local markets and bazaars in India to purchase clothing, jewelry, home décor, gifts, handcrafted items, spices, and other unique goods typically found in Indian bazaars.

Can you shop for specific items in a bazaar?

Yes, you can provide a detailed list, including descriptions or pictures, and our shopper will find the closest match for your request.

What is a personal assistant service?

A personal assistant helps with daily tasks such as errand running, managing property issues, handling documentation, and more, saving you time and effort.

How do I send a package within India?

Simply share the package details and pickup/drop-off addresses with us, and we'll handle the rest. For example, on your special occasion, we can shop and deliver cakes/flowers from a brand/vendor of your choice.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, we provide courier tracking details for every shipment to keep you updated.

What types of items can you ship internationally?

We can ship most items, including personal belongings, gifts, and documents. Restrictions apply to prohibited items like liquids or perishables. Please check Prohibited Items below for a complete list.

How long does international shipping take?

Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on the destination and the shipping speed type opted.

Can you get certificates from India while I am abroad?

Certainly! Here are the general requirements we need from you to receive transcripts(sealed and original) and other certificates from your institution. Please note these may vary according to the respective institution’s policies.

1) Soft copy of all college transcripts
2) Soft copy of the college degree
3) Institutional certificate (if you wish to courier to a foreign institute)
4) Authorization letter with the assigned agent’s name to collect the documents on your behalf.
5) Soft copy of the Consolidated memo.

How can I track my order?

Once the shipment is sent by us, we will share complete information over WhatsApp including the courier tracking number, expected delivery date and photos wherever necessary.

What is service fees?

A service fee of 7.5% of total order value (including shipping/delivery cost) is chargeable for providing customer support, sharing photos, tracking products, communication, managing your order and website maintenance.

Will I have to pay custom duties and taxes?

Customs Duty is a tax imposed on imports and exports of goods. Please check with your country’s policy, documents, items and charges on customs clearance. Not every international shipment will get charged customs fees. Taxes, duties and brokerage fees are customarily paid by the receiver of the shipment. Shoppin will assist in customs clearance and provide a certificate. Shoppin is not responsible for any customs duty levied on the shipment.

Can I add insurance for my international shipment?

Most shipping carriers have mail classes that include the cost of insurance in the overall shipping cost. Opting for insurance will be an additional cost.

What happens if my order arrives late?

Once we receive the confirmation of payment and the complete destination address, we will speedily work and arrange the shipment to be safely and securely delivered to your doorstep. We also provide faster shipping options for your need. What's your payment policy?

Payment is done prior to shopping and shipping. You will receive the invoice that will contain total amount for the products in the shopping list along with fees. Please check pricing page for more information.
