What are personal shopping hours?

Personal shopping hours are Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST (subject to the working hours of the vendors).

What is a virtual address/lockbox storage?

A lockbox is a special P.O. box address in India dedicated to collecting customers’ products.

What is free lockbox storage?

We provide free lockbox storage to hold your purchases for upto 30 days. A charge of INR 49 per day is applicable after the period of 30 days.

Note: The 30 day period starts from the arrival date of the first ordered product into the lockbox.

 

How can I track my order?

Once the shipment is sent by us, we will share complete information over WhatsApp including the courier tracking number, expected delivery date and photos wherever necessary.

What is service fees?

A service fee of 7.5% of total order value (including shipping cost) is chargeable for providing customer support, sharing photos, tracking products, communication and managing your order.

Will I have to pay custom duties and taxes?

Customs Duty is a tax imposed on imports and exports of goods. Please check with your country’s policy, documents, items and charges on customs clearance. Not every international shipment will get charged customs fees. Taxes, duties and brokerage fees are customarily paid by the receiver of the shipment. Shoppin will assist in customs clearance and provide a certificate. Shoppin is not responsible for any customs duty levied on the shipment.

 
Do you accept orders for delivery within India?

Yes. We do personally shop for your products and deliver them to your loved one/friend in any city in India. For example, on your special occasion, we can shop and deliver cakes/flowers from a brand/vendor of your choice.

 
Do you deliver medicines from India?

Yes, though there are a few prerequisites that need to be fulfilled before shipping your package of medicines internationally:

  1. A medical certificate that is issued within 3 months of the shipment date with the name of the patient.
  2. A Prescription of the medicines with the medical names in English within 1 month of the shipment date. (we can help with that)
  3. A receipt/bill of the medication purchase with patient’s name within 1 month of the shipment date. (we can help with that)
  4. Passport copy of the patient/receiver with the name same as the prescription.
  5. Medicine shipments can only be sent in 1kg batches.
  6. No liquids allowed.
  7. A maximum of 3 months course can be shipped which is cross-checked with prescription.
  8. For ayurvedic medicines, an NOC (no-objection certificate) from Ayush department, a subdivision of the Ministry of Health and family welfare of India is required. (we will obtain this)
  9. Medicine shipping cost is 5000 per kg.
Can you deliver SIM cards?

Yes, we facilitate international delivery of SIM cards only if they are deactivated and along with that a deactivation confirmation letter from the SIM card’s carrier is required.

 
How can I place online orders?

Pre-paid online orders can be placed via e-commerce websites to local Indian addresses that will be stored in a secured lockbox. ShoppIn executives will pick up the order box and include it in the shipment box.

If your card is not accepted for your online orders, we can make the payment on your behalf and the amount will be added to your final invoice.

Once the order is confirmed, we cannot accept cancellations on shipments.

 
Can I add insurance for my package?

Most shipping carriers have mail classes that include the cost of insurance in the overall shipping cost. Opting for insurance will be an additional cost.

Additonal Cost: Rs.1499 or 2% of shipment value. (Whichever is higher)

What happens if my order arrives late?

Once we receive the confirmation of payment and the complete destination address, shoppin will speedily work and arrange the shipment to be safely and securely delivered to your doorstep within 7 to 10 business days. What's your payment policy?

Payment is done prior to shopping and shipping. You will receive the invoice that will contain total amount for the products in the shopping list along with fees. Please check pricing page for more information.

Can you make the shopping payment on my behalf?

Yes, we can make the advance payment for shopping on your behalf chargeable at an additional fees of 2.5 % of the total amount paid. Maximum amount payable by us is INR 10000.

 
Can you get transcripts and other certificates from India?

Certainly! Here are the general requirements we need from you to receive transcripts(sealed and original) and other certificates from your institution. Please note these may vary according to the respective institution’s policies.

1) Soft copy of all college transcripts
2) Soft copy of the college degree
3) Institutional certificate (if you wish to courier to a foreign institute)
4) Authorization letter with the assigned agent’s name to collect the documents on your behalf.
5) Soft copy of the Consolidated memo.
6) Soft copy of the provisional certificate.
